ECO-FUTURE is a 24-month Cooperation Partnership in the field of School education aimed at promoting a thriving, supportive scheme for teachers to educate children on the circular economy to stimulate positive society-wide benefits.

The project idea stems from the consideration that Covid-19 showed the world the need to rethink and redesign how we act. The recent coronavirus crisis has brought disastrous human and economic consequences, revealing our system’s exposure to various risks. As the pandemic forces us to adapt our daily lives in ways we would not have imagined, it also challenges us to rethink the systems that underpin the economy.

In this context, “ECO-FUTURE” intends to promote an educational approach that aims to develop students, schools and communities with the values and the motivation to act for sustainability – in their personal lives, within their community and globally- now and in the future.
